Once you’ve finalized the administrative formalities, you’ll be directed to the laser hair removal room, where you’ll have your information consultation.
Explanatory video
An explanatory video will help you understand the principle, the indications, the results to expect and everything else you need to know about laser hair removal.
Questionnaire
To ensure that you have no contraindications to laser hair removal, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire before starting the procedure.
Melanin measurement
The quantity of melanin in the areas to be treated will be evaluated, to provide the medical and paramedical team with a reference for adjusting the parameters to suit your skin!
Medical advice
French law recommends that a doctor’s opinion be sought before the first laser treatment, to check for any contraindications.
At CtrlZ, medical advice is systematically sought during the information consultation.
The doctor carefully examines your questionnaire and, if necessary, clarifies your answers with you.
Naturally, this is the ideal time to ask any questions you may have about laser hair removal. The doctor is always ready to listen!
Test zone
About ten test shots will be performed on all the areas you wish to treat.
These shots enable us to evaluate the response of your hair, the tolerance of your skin and the appearance of any remote side effects.
Treatment plan
You will then be given a price estimate for your waxing, together with your treatment plan.
You will also receive an information sheet and a pre-treatment sheet.
Appointments
At the end, if you wish and only if you wish, you can make an appointment for your 1st laser hair removal session!

On average, it takes 6 to 10 sessions to treat an area.
Your best weapon is patience, but it’s worth it!
The day before each session, you should carefully shave the areas to be treated (excluding the face, hormone-dependent areas and areas where the doctor has given instructions to the contrary), as this will make the treatment even more effective!
Before the session, French law recommends that you seek medical advice if you have any doubts about a contraindication.
At CtrlZ, if necessary, medical advice can be sought before a session is carried out, particularly if your questionnaire reveals a new contraindication.
In this case, the doctor is contacted, carefully examines your answers, clarifies them with you and decides whether or not to go ahead with the session.
During the session, the laser scans all the areas to be treated.
These areas will be reddened with discrete oedemas, which will quickly disappear.
These symptoms are completely normal and a sign of effectiveness.
After the session, the nurse will give you a soothing cream to apply in a thin layer over the entire depilated area, for 24 to 48 hours. In the days following the session, the hairs will be progressively ejected and the treated area will be hair-free for several weeks.
As the sessions progress, you’ll notice a reduction in the amount of hair until you reach 85-95% hair reduction!
